Traditional Rajput wedding The guests are divided into two groups to form bride and grooms sides. A traditional ceremony is arranged one couple from the group is chosen as bride and groom. The men are dressed in white kurta pajama and colorful turban; ladies are dressed in colorful Rajasthani dress or Salwar Kameez with colored scarf. Building is beautifully illuminated, brat processing with groom on horseback is led by other men and decorated camels, and Horses band flaming torches and musicians. On arrival of Barat party at bagh they are received by ladies, welcome drinks are served groom is then led to marriage ceremony venue which is beautifully decorated with flowers & ferry light in the middle of the garden and bride follows later. All other group members are then seated on the mattress and bolsters all around the venue in the garden.A Hindu Pandit then performs the rituals and commemorates the marriage ceremony, while cocktails, drinks and snacks are served followed by gala dinner served on low tables. The dinner ends with fire works display Photographer / Video man can be arranged on request. The newly wed couple is then escorted to the suite decorated with flowers.
Special evening with Rajput wedding
The royal procession comprises of ladies dressed in rajasthani attire showering rose petals in the front and followed by musicians playing the dhol- nagara and band, instruments traditionally used for such auspicious occasions. The guests follow a live band and at the ends a caparisoned elephants carries the bridegroom. A traditional welcome ceremony is performed on arrival showered with rose petals and attar (rose water). A welcome drink served on arrival. The fragrance and the beauty of the flowers decorated, the mystical illumination from lanterns, mashaals, fire torches and fairy lights enhances the romance of the evening. A place for wedding ritual and has seating of mattress and bolsters decorated with flowers, after the traditional Hindu wedding ceremony all arrive at a separate place for dinner. The tranquillity is broken by the beats of of the music by dhol and nagadas. There is a row of vendors displaying various items of crafts like bangle makers, potters, black smith, a puppeteer, painters, astrologer and palmist, tie and die workers, durries displays etc. The rustic, ambience transforms guests in to another world making them feel as a part of an Indian village with whole countryside specially decorated with lanterns, hay sacks, saddles
Village market place bustling with activity. Festivities begin with music and dancing the guest experiences a very different cultural exposition of Rajasthan’s folklore from the previous evening. The aroma of traditional rajasthani cuisine permeates through the air while the fine selection of Indian wines and beverages is served to guests. The chefs prepare onsight bar-be Que. delicacies, displaying their culinary acumen with pride. The festivities continue late into the night
